Poet Keeba Johnson Seeks to Stimulate the Economy Through Her Poetry

ATLANTA, Dec. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Keeba Johnson has written a poetry book on life, love, and wisdom. One poem in particular is on how to help stimulate the economy. It is a long poem that tells exactly what our fellow man needs to buy or give through his or her lifetime to help the body and mind work better. It will also create jobs if people follow the advice. All of this was written in the last three months during a diagnosis of anxiety and bipolar.

While home from work for three months because of symptoms from her illness she seized the opportunity to go to intensive outpatient therapy and group sessions to learn more about her life issues. During this time she journaled daily by writing poems from her past and present. Twenty-three poems later and a world of wisdom Life of Poetry: Love, Education, and Wisdom was born.

We live in a microwave society because everyone is in such a rush and going nowhere. Through Lulu.com I was able to publish a book in less than two weeks even with bipolar. The book is broken into poems of love because of the work it takes to stay married. It also has poems of education because I have been in the field for 12 years as a teacher and school counselor. I can relate to what teachers feel about No Child Left Behind because I see and hear it everyday. Lastly, because of the pain of the last three months there is a section on wisdom that talks about the trickery we face everyday living life.
