NBA Wife Audrey Griffin Shatters Stereotypes and Offers Moms Down Home Advice on How Women Can Keep Themselves, Their Homes and Their Man Together and Happy in Debut Book

The Debut Book by Writer, NBA Wife & Mother Audrey Griffin is Slated for Early Fall Release

Award-Winning Author, Editor & Journalist Asha Bandele on Board as Editor

NEW YORK, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- It was announced today that NBA wife and writer Audrey Griffin is slated to write a myth-dispelling book, shattering the stereotypes put on NBA wives to show that everything isn't always glitz and glamour while offering mothers everywhere real and practical ways to becoming more balanced wives, mothers, friends, and most of all better people.

Griffin, a hands-on mother of four, VP of the National Basketball Wives Association and wife to NBA coach and former NBA player Adrian Griffin will use her personal experiences in her tell all, self-help book to explore the dynamics of contemporary motherhood, family management and personal development to give mothers fresh and candid solutions to help take back control of their lives and households so that their everyday duties and responsibilities don't take control of them.

About her motivation in writing the book Griffin says, "Being a wife of an NBA player is at times equivalent to being a single parent. I was juggling four kids and managing the household while trying to take care of myself, which I never seemed to find the time for. I was wearing down mentally, physically and emotionally as well, which became evident in my relationships with my husband, children, family and friends. The day arrived where I reached my breaking point and needed to desperately find a balance in my life because the everyday pressures had taken a huge toll on me. I had to get my life in order before I could save anyone else. In that journey I realized this could be a liberating movement not just for me but for all mothers, women, and families in general."

Edited by award winning author, journalist and editor Asha Bandele, the book is slated for an early fall release through Griffin's imprint CM Publishing LLC, NY.
