Xenon Pictures announced the national DVD release of the hit comedy
“Double Wedding” starring Tia and Tamera Mowry best known as the stars
of the hugely popular Emmy-winning sitcom “Sister, Sister.” The film
will be available in stores on February 8th, 2011.“Double Wedding” scored top 10 ratings during its exclusive cable run. The movie stars Tia and Tamera Mowry as Deanna and Danielle Warren, twin sisters with completely opposite personalities. One’s a career-obsessed attorney, the other a laid-back pastry chef. When a friend posts their profiles on a dating website, the two girls unintentionally begin seeing the same guy who believes they are one and the same person. It all leads up to one guy with two dates for the same wedding and how the bond of sisterhood survives the hilarious complications of love.
Tia and Tamera Mowry not only star in “Double Wedding” but also served as executive producers, working with the writer and director and moving the project through development. “We always wanted to be in a romantic comedy,” said Tia and Tamera, “And the best way to do it was to create it ourselves.”
